Yes that might be true - but I sure do enjoy those sister moments :-) and I know myself, and I do not lack in self-confidence, even I sometimes need a reminder from friends and family as to what I am capable of doing - I guess that's part of being loved.

I'd also like to see Kara given a second chance at Catco. In fact that should be Catco policy. Large organizations proceed in stages usually proceed in stages before termination, verbal warnings, writing the offender up, probation and then termination. As for expanding Kara's powers how about expanding her self-confidence? She shouldn't need Alex to tell her "you can do it".

If I could write the ideal season 3, it would be that Snapper gives Kara another chance at being a Reporter since as she mentioned in Exodus when she said "When I write, I don't need a yellow sun. It's just me. SuperGirl is what I can do. Kara is who I am. I really loved that job." Everyone deserves a second chance and this would continue to give Kara balance. I would also like the show to expand upon the powers of SuperGirl, powers that she herself doesn't know she is capable of. Like in Exodus when she didn't think she had enough power to stop the ship the aliens were on...but Alex showed her that she could. There is so much inner power in SuperGirl that is yet to be discovered. I think in Distant Sun, it would have been fantastic to see SuperGirl and her action team of Alex, J'onn, MonEl, Guardian and Winn go against various alien bounty hunters. I am hoping that Lena and her corporation will provide the DEO with even more weapons in which to fight with. Season 3 has so much potential, I just hope the writers take advantage of it.

"I completely agree and that's part of why I deplore the reducing Catco and pretyt much limiting the show to Supergirl fighting dangerous aliens. That can be entertaining but it means we see less of Supergirl's kindhearted nature. It's hardly unreasonable to think that she'd enjoy using her pwoers to help any ordinary person with a problem but we rarely see that." Yes, exactly, the original Silver Age Supergirl (and now also Melissa's portrayal) has been described as "warm and friendly, cheerful and kind - always ready to help out, whether it be saving the world or brightening a small child's day"!

"My wish for season 3 is for the producers writers to be mindful of Kara's optimistic and hopeful nature when balancing the dark with the light I would hate for her to become sinical and distrustful." Totally agree! For me, the best thing about the show is Kara's "optimistic and hopeful nature" - it's what makes it distinctive among superhero TV shows. As Time magazine said recently: "Who says superheroes have to be brooding? Supergirl saves her city with a smile!" What I like best about Melissa's portrayal of Kara is the way that she's kept the sweet, cheerful, kind-hearted nature of the original Silver Age Supergirl intact. (I've tried to maintain those personality characteristics in my own fan fiction stories, too.)If the show ever loses that, it just wouldn't be the same for me!

pretty sure 'Ace Reporter' is going to be a rip from http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Superman_Vol_3_41 I think what they are setting up is Invasion. The president being a Durlan and Rhea being a Daxamite will bring in the Dominators to help them. I think the DEO and Cadmus will do an enemy of my enemy is my friend scenario and work together to fight off the invasion. If they cant get Calista Flockhart to return in some capacity I think we might see the end of Catco on the show, unless they do something silly like having Lena buy it. Cat is already confirmed as not returning this season, they are trying to get her for next season. I'd also like to see Cat back even if she's just a voice on a device with Calista Flockhart literally phoning in her part. Better yet if she was filmed in LA and it was edited to make it look like Catco was back in national City and running Catco.

So far, we have 3 crossover that involves SG: 1. Supergirl S1E18 (SG and flash). This crossover takes place in SG. from the beginning until the end of the episode. 2. 4 way crossover. flash, arrow and legends character didn't featured in SG episode. the reason why the crossover only start at the end of S2E08 is because SG initially not in the plan for the crossover. That's because they didn't know that SG will be moved to CW. Thus, it looks like they take supergirl to other shows to boost ratings. 3. The musical crossover. the 2nd time flash and supergirl crossover (i mean ONLY SG and the flash). the 1st crossover is on SG episode. it's only fair this one is on the flash episode imo. I hope my explanation about the crossover helps. :)

I hope Cadmus, the President, and queen Reah/Daxamites don't all happen is the last five, really four episodes since "Ace Reporter" seems to be dealing with Kara's employment situation. I believe I also heard something about Kara and Maggie having to work together to help Alex. There's just not enough time to conclude all three issues. I think the season will end with Cadmus and Jeremiah's stories concluding. Lillian was way too excited about that box for it not to come into play. I want Kara to defeat Cadmus and have some worry free time. I can see a set up for next season with our heroine thinking the evil queen has given up and not knowing about the President. This of course depends on how long Terri Hatcher and Lynda Carter stayed and/or if they are still in Vancouver filming. At this point the the season has been written and filming will probably wrap this coming week or the one after. During this spring break CW will probably announce the number of episodes for season 3. Depending on the number of episodes filming for the next season will start either shortly before or directly after SDCC in July. My wish for season 3 is for the producers writers to be mindful of Kara's optimistic and hopeful nature when balancing the dark with the light I would hate for her to become sinical and distrustful.

If team SuperGirl has to work with Cadmus against an alien invasion, it would kind of be like in Season 1 where they had to work with alien hater Max in order to save earth. My hope would be that it is not a cliffhanger and that it starts and ends in season 2 just like it started and ended in season 1. I'm also tired of crossovers - all they do is take SuperGirl's appearance away from her own series to boost the ratings of the Flash and Arrow.

The Durlans were first and foremost associated with the Legion of Superheroes in protagonist roles, most notably benefactor R.J. Brande and members Reep Daggle/Chameleon(Boy) and Yera Allon/Chameleon Girl, so I think it's very premature to assume that the show is going to bring in the species in an antagonistic role. It's also worth noting that the fact that Marsdin is a confirmed Durlan means that this is how the character was ALWAYS going to be, since she was supposed to show up in Season 1 and the role had been 'earmarked' for Lynda Carter since the start.

If the powers that be could pull off a bleak and dystopian Season 3 very well then I'm excited to watch it all through. Assuming if it is the scenario for S3, as far as I could see so far the following seeds were sprinkled throughout S2 seem to be converging: 1) Mon-El crash lands on Earth 2) The real President Marsden is impersonated by a Durlan (she's probably dead or missing). As we all know the hint that Marsden is an alien was in Episode 3. 3) Cadmus was introduced as an anti-alien organization early on (is also in possession of whatever is in the Lex Luthor's box) 4) The appearance of the Dominator and paying his respect to the Daxamite Prince. 5) The introduction of Rhea. But who knows, the rumored invasion could be just a cliffhanger for the finale and will be quickly resolved after the S3 premiere episode (I really hope not). Or it could be a basis for the 2017 four-way crossover. The CW, as evidenced by the 100, could show that they could pull off an apocalyptic show without any trace of the cityscape of Vancouver. Perhaps there won't be a violent takeover of Earth but a systematic one like the show "V". Personally I'd like to watch the latter, but for anyone who's expecting sunshine on every episode of "Supergirl", it'll be a disappointment.

I'd be down if that was the plot for Season 3. My hopes: They're actually powerful. Cadmus was constantly on the run from Supergirl, because she's a mortal danger to them, not the other way around. The story stays relevant to them on a more frequent basis. The villains of the week on The Flash and Arrow are all covered while simultaneous serving a purpose in dealing with the main enemy. They don't get replaced by another main villain half season.
