Well this is pretty awesome! Another Kryptonian based show is coming to TV. For those that don't know, Syfy network has been developing a new show about Kara and Kal-El's grandfather on Krypton (well before it was destroyed). Today there is a first look at the trailer! If you are a fan of Battlestar Galactica, this had that same feel while taking the aesthetics from the Man of Steel movie. Seeing the trailer has us pretty excited about it so we thought we'd share it with you all.

What do you think? Do we need to make a Kryptonshow.tv?
You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun, Kal. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders.

Keeping track of two versions of the same thing will be hard. I mean I can watch the movies and the TV shows because the movies come out now and then sporadically, so I don't have to go all inception about Tyler Hoechlin vs Henry Cavill or Grant Gustin vs Ezra Miller, but watching Supergirl and this at the same time is gonna be a pain.
In the year 2166, my planet Krypton was dying. I returned with only one goal, but my pod got knocked off course, and by the time I got here, an accident made me the impossible.....

Nice, thanks for posting.

I will definitely give it a watch if it screens here in New Zealand.

A different part of Superman lore that looks quite intriguing.

Go for it :) , if you can find the time that is with the running of this website.

Looks like it will be a very interesting show. It will at least fill in a lot of the canonical gaps of old Krypton up to the time of its destruction. Hopefully it will tie in to the Kal-EL and Kara Zor-EL stories, albeit through family lineage. And, if it has a BSG reboot feel to it, it might work quite well. In any event, as Fall 2017 approaches, the show should be getting much more publicity and buzz.

I wish it well. :)

Have always been a Battlestar Galactica fan...both the original, as well as, the reboot.

Saw the trailer earlier today and looks like another hit for SyFy.
