Lena should be good/bad?

I'm of the opinion that after so many red herring attempts of making us think that she is evil, and then finally vindicating her as a good person, making her in fact bad now would be poor writing. Plus I think the subversion of the evil Luthor concept is refreshing. What do you all think?

I don't know, ominous music aside, that scene doesn't indicate she is going to go bad, if anything quite the opposite, as it shows Lena beating Lex at his own game. And she does so with a "White Knight". We are shown this flashback right after the scene where Lena tells Kara that she is her hero, or in other words Kara is Lena's White Knight.


But then there is that ominous music so...

One thing is certain Lena is a strategic thinker, and has enough patience to play the long game.

I agree, Lena is far more interesting as the "white sheep" of the Luther family, than if they decided to make here evil. Besides we already have Lilian Luther if you need an evil female Luther.


Totally. You have a different spin on Super vs. Luthor.

I think in either case, both James and Winn could be brought back to the light by Kara. I would really like that to be played out with James this season....and have him come back realizing that he can do a great amount of good as the head of CatCo and begin taking on possibly the Luthors, or whomever they choose to bring on in future seasons as a hard hitting reporter. To the point that it puts his life in danger, and now we know that he is able to take care of himself, just not as Guardian. Develop his character in the mold of "All The President's Men", show him actually as a reporter ON TV. Send him to the Middle East to do an expose on whatever....show him as a strong independent man.

Yeah, there has been talk since Season 1 that there is always the possibility that Winn will go bad like his dad, I for one would love to see it, and I have a feeling Jeremy would have a blast with it.
