Didn't they get the memo on that Chris is a series regular of only 7 regulars and Mon-El's suit has not even been revealed yet. He just got cast as a series regular on this show this year. And there are tons of potential for him. Chris has been an excellent addition to the cast. Yet these ugh!! Think they can get it there hateful way even though most love him. Yet these are so loud but small vicious group of women.

I love Mon-El what a fantastic addition to the show Chris is. I just wanna know when we will finally see his famous suit from the comics. Are they waiting for season finale or season 3 ?

As a Prince he wouldn't be the one to order it, his father or mother however could have been the one. BUT, if that is the case, then that totally blows a HUGE story from the 1st season.

I reckon Daxam tried to destroy Krypton, but backfired and killed their own planet too when Krypton exploded. That would give him something to hide. Maybe he ordered it.

Because being the prince alone is not much of a shady secret.

I still want to know how Jeremiah knew Mon-El's secret. Hopefully we'll find out soon enough. Dealing with suspense is hard.

It's ultimately "the cover-up, not the crime" (as Kreisberg himself said) that's gonna be the problem. I wasn't trying to imply it wouldn't be. Sorry if that was unclear in my original post.

I actually think that Jeremiah was threatening to tell Kara that Mon-El is the Prince of Daxam. Maybe I'm wrong to take it at face value, but I think that's all there was to Jeremiah's threat mostly because if you think about it, it's enough.

Considering that Kara threw Mon-El into a cell when they first met almost solely because he was a daxamite, and she has a penchant for thinking the absolute worst of daxamites (though not without reason) and that she thinks the Prince of Daxam was the worst of the daxamites, then that seems like more than plenty of reason why Mon-El would never want Kara to know that's who he is/was.

To be honest, I think Mon-El initially lied to everyone about who he was out of fear, but at this point it's possible he's keeping it a secret from Kara out of some sense of shame. *shrugs* Time will tell.

As to Mon-El's story of how he escaped Daxam - it's said that the best lies are based on some truth, so I tend to subscribe to the theory that Mon-El's story is generally true except he reversed his and his guard’s roles in the story and probably embellished the "Prince's" last words. Doing so served three purposes. 1) It allowed “The Prince" to be perceived in a good light for sacrificing himself for his "guard" 2) Mon-El, as the "guard", wouldn't be held in contempt for surviving because “The Prince” sacrificed himself for him, and 3) Mon-El taking on the role as the guard distanced him from his identity as the Prince of Daxam (which again, was probably paramount to him at the time because daxamites aren't highly regarded).

Where I think things get interesting is in how Jeremiah knew who Mon-El really was and how that factors into the larger story with Cadmus and Teri Hatcher's and Kevin Sorbo's upcoming appearances.

Now, I’m just spitballing here (so there's a 1000% probability I'm wrong ;-)), but I think Mon-El's parents (yes, I'm assuming Teri H. and Kevin Sorbo are playing the Queen and King of Daxam/Mon-El’s parents) are somehow in cahoots or indirectly dealing with Cadmus. That could explain how Jeremiah even knows Mon-El's true identity as the Prince of Daxam. And if Ma & Pa Daxam are exposed to somehow be behind the scenes (whether they are working with Cadmus or not), then the reveal of Mon-El’s identity could seriously throw the perception of Mon-El’s allegiances into question.

Personally, I don’t think Mon-El knows anything about what Cadmus is up to, and I don’t think he would ever willingly work with Cadmus, despite whatever his parents plans are. I think Mon-El is a genuinely good-hearted person. His execution sucks a lot of the time, but his heart seems to be in the right place. Plus, Mon-El has stated before there were a lot of things happening on Daxam that he didn’t agree with. But, anyway, the fact that he lied to Kara about who he was added into the mix of Cadmus’ threat and Ma & Pa Daxam possibly working with Cadmus, well, all in all that would be a harsh blow to Kara, who put her complete trust in Mon-El and opened up her heart to him, which makes it all the more hurtful.

If this is the way the narrative is going, then it’s going to get real ugly for Kara and for Mon-El (both individually and as a couple.... heck, as a viewer, this is going to hurt :-( ) But despite that, I think the show has been driving the story to a point where Mon-El has to basically decide to either no holds barred “hero up” or fallback to his old, selfish ways that defined his former self, The Prince of Daxam. This being a show about optimism and the potential for people to be better, then I put my money on Mon-El finally "heroing up" and living up to his comic book superhero origins.
