So I was watching a British quiz show on TV tonight called The Chase (explanation of it here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chase_(UK_game_show)) and a Supergirl question was asked that ended up costing the contestants the chance at winning GBP30,000.00. If they had answered correctly they would've pushed the Chaser back to 18 and there wouldn't have then been enough time to ask and answer 3 questions to get to 21.

Watch it on the attached video, the Supergirl question is asked at the 4 minute mark of the video.

Has anyone else seen Supergirl questions asked on TV quiz shows?.

When I first read the thread title I missed the word 'questions' so I was thinking I can see Supergirl participating in celebrity Jeopardy, my guess is her charity would be the humane society. And based on name dropping from the show one of her opponents would be Lin Manuel Miranda, (his charity would have something to do with Puerto Rico's dept crisis)

It would also be fun if she were the celebrity guest on one of NPR's two quiz shows. (I realize these are radio quiz shows, but still) I know she only lets Cat interview her in universe but I would get a kick out of it if either Ophira Eisenberg, or Peter Sagal asked her about Leslie Willis.

"Maybe Stewart could write somethin
g like this (Supergirl appearing on a quiz show) in his next fan fiction story. "

Thanks - good idea!

I could have her appearing on a quiz show at KGTV in National City, and donating her winnings to a local charity. That's just what you would expect her to do!

How can any of you forget the time on Jeopardy last year here in the states?

******

Didn't see the episode. If you can find a YouTube or similar link with the Q & A, kindly pass it along. ;)

I recall that now after Robert mentioned it and the clue was Melissa Benoist plays the charming title caped hero on this CBS series. Refer attached Twitter link.

While I was searching I also found this piece of fan art of Supergirl appearing on Jeopardy. Maybe Stewart could write something like this (Supergirl appearing on a quiz show) in his next fan fiction story.

To date, I haven't seen any game show or otherwise in the US / Canada that has posed a Supergirl-related quiz question, but I'm sure if the show stays on the air for a few more years, it'll become a Jeopardy! category stumper.

Too bad the UK's premier brain-busting TV quiz show, Mastermind, is no longer on the air. It would have befuddled the contestant(s) even then.

Btw, Supergirl 's alter ego as posed in this game show quiz, Linda Danvers, is from an earlier incarnation of the character (e.g. Linda Lee Danvers in the 1984 film and in the comics up until the 1990s)

Thanks for the brilliant find, Kiwi. Mighty good of you! :D
