Official Description: Alex is kidnapped and the kidnapper threatens to kill her unless Supergirl releases a notorious criminal from prison. Supergirl and Maggie have always had different approaches to apprehending criminals but this time they must work together to save Alex. Meanwhile, Rhea has an interesting proposal for Lena.

Special Notes: Alex Danvers goes missing! The result is that Kara and Maggie are going to have to work together to get Alex back. The two clearly love Alex but have very different methods of getting her back. Supergirl's abilities will give them an edge but Maggie's ability to morally bend the rules may be the key to saving Alex. In the end, this is reported to be a very big episode for Alex and Maggie. Chyler Leigh has this to say in a EW.com interview:

Episode 19 is a very big episode for the both of them just because it comes to dire circumstances, where it’s a situation of a rescue. It causes Kara and Maggie to have to rely on each other to figure out what happened to Alex… You have to see how they work together, and you have to see how they’re both fighting for the person that they love, that they care about, and how that can take a toll if you have differing opinions, different ways that you kill aliens. It’s this really great example of how deep all of the relationships are, but it really does put Maggie and Alex to the test in a very great way, but it’s rather dire.
