This is a series of animated short videos that I enjoy. The first episode of Season 3 was released today and it features Supergirl taking her spaceship for a ride to rescue Batgirl. Totally would love to see SG and BG together in live action some day.

Although I don't/haven't watch this, admittedly sometimes I still watch things intended for kids.

I'm a Big Kid at heart when it comes to watching my favourite Superheroine Supergirl, this series is intended for 6-12 year old girls and I'm a 46 year old man but that doesn't bother me as like Robert I find these to be totally fun videos.

Another thing I like with DCSHG is in the 2 movies that have been released so far Dean Cain and Helen Slater voice Jonathan and Martha Kent who are effectively Supergirl's Earth Parents (same as they play on the Supergirl TV Show), although Supergirl refers to them as Uncle and Aunt.

In the year 2166, my planet Krypton was dying. I returned with only one goal, but my pod got knocked off course, and by the time I got here, an accident made me the impossible.....

Ditto! Here's how I date myself, I even will watch old theatrical cartoons (Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Popeye) on DVD or YouTube/DailyMotion if there is nothing else on or Boomerang and/or Cartoon Network, or what used to be these channels, keep airing their modern-day garbage they call animation. Heck even The JEtsons, Flintstones or Top Cat...also on DVD.

These are some of the things I grew up with or watched when available. I guess we're just kids at heart.

We don't know how Lena Luthor is turning out in the TV Show as yet but she's a villain in the DC Superhero Girls world. New video short posted today 'Tales from the Kryptomites Part 1'.

Ok i'm sorry but the kryptonite "Stripe" just made me laugh during the all thing. Gremlins are among them ! Thank you for that Kiwi :)

I have watched this series from the start. At first not thinking much of it. But now, these snippets are fun, peppy and don't talk down to the audience like Teen Titans Go! A few seconds of that mess, and I have to turn away. The theme song is total ear sugar but also an ear bug.

In the cartoon you mentioned, you forogot to say we are introduced to...LENA LUTHOR. And this is the blonde version from the comics, not the one from the TV show played by Katie McGrath. This is all based on how the story is told; the canon if you will. And somehow I think Lena becomes the main baddie with her claws out for Supergirl

As to seeing Supergirl and Batgirl team up for live action...OH IF ONLY! With a 3rd season in the bag, there can be time for some talks.

It's all based on the canon. Like I said in season 3 DCSHG is introducing Lena Luthor, but nothing like the live-action TV show. It's more of the blonde evil sister of Lex Luthor.
