I was really thinking we would. But, having him in the first two episodes really wasn't a major ratings boom that I think they thought it would be, so even though I was sure we would see him again, it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

After re-watching The Adventures of Supergirl episode tonight I certainly hope we see Superman on the show again sometime. Melissa and Tyler were so good together and a lot of fun to watch.

While he's not likely to come back in Season 2, hopefully WB/DC can approve another 2 episode arc for him to open Season 3.

The Six Million Dollar Man (Steve Austin) appeared on The Bionic Woman (Jamie Summers) show back in the 1970's in 6 out of the 58 episodes and I always enjoyed watching them together, seems about the right ratio of episodes for Superman to appear on Supergirl.

I would like to see him again but agree he shouldn't overshadow Kara but don't think he did in the first two episodes.

I agree with Rschick. Tyler was great in the role, and if he comes back I'm fine with that. But it's her show and she can handle whatever comes her way with the team she's got.

I am not sure if I want to see superman again on the show. sure he was fun, but I've just seen enough of superman in other iterations and am totally enjoying this ride. I am sure I would enjoy a return, but I dont need/want it either.

Short answer: No.

Longer answer: It wouldn't make much sense to re-introduce the character in S2 with all that is happening between Cadmus, the Daxamites and ongoing storylines. It would needlessly clutter up and already busy back half of S2.

Likely scenario: Superman gets re-introduced as either a one shot appearance or a two-episode arc in S3.
