Who do you guys think would win in a fight, wannabe hero James Olsen or hardened vigilante Oliver Queen?

Oliver

Pros: Survived five years in hell, and afterward 4 years of experience of being a vigilante. Fought numerous criminals, super-soldiers, Ras Al Ghul, Reverse Flash, and more recently, aliens. Possibly the best unarmed fighter except Vandal Savage in the known Multiverse worlds, Earths 1,2 and 38.

Cons: Has just a bow and arrow.

James

Pros: Has a very powerful suit of armour (but not built by him) that was capable or standing up to Parasite, who has defeated Supergirl and Martian Manhunter together.

Cons: No experience. No skill. No powers. No real motivations. Relies on Winn for tactics. Winn basically walks him through every battle. Has watched Kal and Kara battle numerous foes, and was jelly the whole time.

Objectively who would win? That armour, not Guardian himself, is actually pretty legit.
In the year 2166, my planet Krypton was dying. I returned with only one goal, but my pod got knocked off course, and by the time I got here, an accident made me the impossible.....

Oliver's weapon of choice is not just a bow and arrows, he has several different types of arrows in his quiver, and he is pin point accurate and very fast. After probably disarming James of the shield, he would with pinpoint accuracy slice James up with arrows that pierce the weakest parts of his suit. Something that Oliver could probably figure out within a couple of minutes of hand to hand combat with James.

So, I would put $$$$$$ on Oliver. His ability at hand to hand, goes far beyond having a black belt. IMO, it would have been much better for the writers to have had James accomplished at krav maga techniques....

It's not even a debate for me (i insist on that personal part) because James is a vigilante claiming (needing - wanting - whatever the term) to be a hero, and who should probably be dead after 2 days without his suit, his shield and the man in the van.
It's totally personal but i've a tendancy to see Oliver more like a man who sees himself as a vigilante without wanted to be a hero, but who will sacrifice everything for others anyway. (a hero ?)
And yes Oliver doesn't need the bow and arrow, like he said, he's the weapon.
At that point, i'm also pretty certain Alex could beat James without all his toys...

Curtis Holt can probably beat James without his toys lol, I was kinda thinking his gear is somewhat legit. But you guys are probably right the suit doesn't make the man

Kurtis Holt can probably beat James without his toys lol, I was kinda thinking his gear is somewhat legit. But you guys are probably right the suit doesn't make the man


Yes i liked that Curtis realised that he can use all of his skills, and the hand to hand combat isn't actually his best for now. But he had training for it (he still do i don't know).
The suit can be part of it, look at Iron man :p (hero's definition ??)

The thing is Iron Man made his suit through his own knowledge lol. Winn made James'.
