best scene in a long time: that lovers quarrel in the DEO was comedic brilliance. When Mon-El waved and said "Oh Hi Dana" was genius. In no way was that scripted and him tossing that in didn't fluster Melissa at all, she just rolled with it. And then at the end with her making those faces cuz she ran out of things to say was so funny. That was 2 power houses performing their buts off for us. Loved it! Isn't this how Lois and Clark bickered in the adventures of Lois and Clark pushing each others buttons?
OMG Yes! I totally agree @Rschick. I don’t know how many times I’ve rewatched that scene alone and every time it has me laughing out loud. It’s easily one of my top 3 favorite scenes of the entire series and easily the most comically brilliant one the show has ever done (IMO). Melissa and Chris nailed this scene. Melissa’s facial expressions were priceless and every time Mon-El stopped Kara as she’s charging down the hall and she was all “OMG, WHAT?!?” that had me in stitches. And Mon-El’s indignation even though he was so wrong was hilarious. He was so wrong he was digging himself a trench as he chased Kara down the hall. hehe. And yep, that moment where mid-argument Mon-El glances over and says “How ya doing Dana” and then keeps rolling right on with his argument with Kara was gold. That and his “Oh, here it is. That’s right - HE’S A DAXAMITE!” LOL. And at the end when they didn’t have anything to say so were just making faces, LOL. I could honestly watch this scene on a loop for hours and never tire of it.
And yes, this was the scene where it hit me - they’re Lois & Clark!
I really liked Kara and Mon-El’s relationship prior to this episode, but all their scenes in this episode were so well done and hit all the right notes - they were funny, charmimg, heartfelt, and WOWZERs their closing scene, talk about hot romance - I’m totally sold on them. I’m all in. (To those who don’t like their pairing, pardon my gushing. I will sincerely try to keep gushing about them to a minimum. I do realize it can be grating.)

SG relies on Winn for all computer-related issues. How did she figure out how to jury-rig the Fortress computer? I don't think she talked to Winn about it because she was afraid that Mxy was eavesdropping.
Well, Kara relies on Winn to handle all human (earth) computer technology. But Kara is perfectly adept with Kryptonian technology. Kryptonian tech is what she was raised with and it’s what she knows. Krypton was a very technologically advanced civilization, so in theory, even though Kara left Krypton when she was 12 years old, her knowledge of math & sciences would very likely be way beyond anyone here on Earth.
The way it’s explained in the comics is that it’s not that Kara is computer-dumb or scientifically inept, it’s that human tech is so primitive to her it’s somewhat akin to handing a modern day person a stone-age implement and expecting them to figure out what it’s used for and how to use it.
Personally, I have a headcanon of a young Kara in a Midvale High science class bored out of her cotton pickin mind. It's like she was being forced to watch Teletubbies everyday for several years.
